JAY. RODIE. ROAD DOG.
SON. BROTHER. FRIEND, HUSBAND.
UNCLE. FATHER.
Jason is now with his friend & father Larry enjoying the wonders of Heaven while keeping watch over his survivors. His mother Pamela, sister Sheradan, her husband Matt, their children Jayden, Sawyer, and Lexington along with his children Zeke, Evie, Mack, and their mother Jodie will all forever hold him in their hearts. A friend to so many, memories of Jay bring laughter as we recall Moontower parties, Mexico trips, wild times, and always adventure. He was a man of many, many talents. He was a musician who could write songs on a whim and play almost any instrument. He loved jamming with his band, The Dirty Rail Road. He was a carpenter, a welder, a painter, a mechanic, an artist, a scuba diver, and a Captain of boats. He started working at Lake Pleasant while in high school and it soon became his home away from home. He loved being near the water. The marina and its members will miss his presence. He couldn’t resist an urge to collect anything cool, especially vehicles. He loved venturing through the desert in his assortment of vehicles or his dirt bike almost as much as his first mode of transportation, a skateboard. His kids will continue to ride the ramps he built, the boards he carved, and practice the skills he taught them as their Daddy loved taking them to the skate park. Rodie was taken from us all too soon. He will be so dearly missed. ❤️
