With profound sadness, we share the passing of a beautiful soul, Jason Goodyear, who left us all too soon on January 3, 2024, born December 18, 1980. Known for his energetic, spontaneous, charming, bold, and authentic nature, Jason lived his life with a free spirit that was contagious to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Survived by his sister Ashley Myer, brother Brian Goodyear, daughters Zoey, Jordynn, and Rylie Goodyear son Jonathan Riddle Jr. Nephews Isaiah Goodyear Hunter Goodyear, Ezekiel Myer, Aland John, Nathan, and Justin, Jason's spir Predeceased by his mothers Bernice Goodyear and Jessie Gilhousen, and his grandparent Grannie Frances , Jason now joins them in eternal peace.
Jason was a man of strong character and his legacy lies in the impact he made on every person he came in contact with. He greatly valued his two years of sobriety, considering it one of his greatest accomplishments alongside the immense pride he held for his beloved daughters
He was passionate about giving back to his community, supporting causes close to his heart like the City Rescue Mission. Above all, however, his most cherished above all was his children who were the center of his universe.
Those who knew Jason could attest to his authentic, spontaneous spirit, and his bold, free-spirited personality; qualities that made him uniquely Jason. He had a magnetically charming aura that, coupled with his authentic self-expression, created unforgettable memories with his loved ones. Jason's infectious love for the simple things in life made him the life of the party. While his physical presence will be greatly missed, Jason's spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
His lively personality, coupled with his accomplishments and the love he had for his family and friends, truly set Jason apart. His story serves as a testament to living life boldly, authentically, and fully. Rest in peace, Jason Goodyear. Your spirit continues to shine brightly in the hearts of your loved ones.
