Jason's obituary

Jason Eric Anglin departed this life on April 23, 2023 with his parents and children at his side. He was born January 14,1973 in Hiawatha Kansas, the eldest son of Mary. Jason was a quiet, peaceful, witty, and extremely intelligent man.

Jason was a Navy Veteran who served 2 full terms in active duty and one Naval reservist rotation. His final Naval Assignment was to the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station in Washington State, where he fell in love with the natural environment and determined to spend his remaining years in the Puget Sound region.

Upon departure from the Navy, Jason dedicated himself to his work in Avionics. He took great joy in this work and was an extremely dedicated employee.

Witty and intelligent, Jason was a history buff who also loved laughter, the solitude of reading, and just watching the world go round. Steven King and Dean Koontz were his favorite authors. As an avid music lover he enjoyed live shows and taught his kids the vastness of his appreciation of music.

Jason loved constructing all things and could fix anything with his hands. He was an engineer at heart. Being extremely innovative, his ingenuity allowed him to craft, create, and navigate many things: from legos with his son; the mastery of all video games; to fixing some of the most complex mechanical issues. This was something that he took pride in sharing with his kids.

Jason was a person who loved deeply and devotedly: his parents, his siblings, his cousins and aunts and uncles, and most importantly, his children. Corey (28), Korbin (19), and Donna (17) were fortunate to have a father who was 100% devoted to his children above all else in life.

Jason is survived by his children, his parents Mary and Steve Anglin, his siblings Korbin, Griffin, Seneca, Jordan, and Natalia along with their respective spouses and children. He will be truly missed. His family will honor his life on Tuesday May 9, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the Cardiology Program at the University of Washington Medical Center for the devoted care and efforts on Jason’s behalf. Please indicate that the gift is in memory of Jason Anglin.
