Background
The sudden loss of Jason has left his brother Evan and especially his mother, Lauren, completely heartbroken. He was a dearly beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.
Despite a life-threatening neurological infection fully disabling him at the age of 25, Jason did all he could to contribute to the household in whatever way his situation allowed. Jason encountered many setbacks, but he kept rebounding. Most recently, his condition stabilized. He attempted to stay positive.
Besides the shock and grief of Jason’s unexpected loss, the family must also navigate the financial responsibility associated with cremation and some type of service. If you are moved to do so, the family asks that in lieu of flowers you consider contributing to help mitigate expenses. Contribute
