Jason's obituary

Jason Elliot Draper, 47, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Batesville, Arkansas. Born on October 8, 1977, Jason was known for his dedication to his career in highway maintenance for the state of Arkansas.

He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and was a valued member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in San Antonio, Texas. Jason found joy in Dr. Pepper, barbecuing, baking, riding motorcycles, and listening to music, sharing these passions with friends and family whenever he could.

Jason is survived by his mother, Marie Evelyn (Baker) Draper; siblings, Stacy Follis, Sarah Follis, Madeline Follis, Richard Follis, Adam Follis, and Tamera Follis; his wife, Erika Draper; children, Jack Draper, Taylor Draper, Elizabeth Hollek, Shayla Draper-Martin, Maili Browning, Braden Lamon, Cheyenne Draper, and Jason Draper Jr.; stepchildren, Milo Mendez and Madeleine Mendez; and grandchildren, Mason Hollek, Elijah Craig, Paisley Hollek, Jaxson Hollek, and Everleigh Craig. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Dean Follis, and his dad, Jack Wyatt Draper.
