Jasmine Nichole Nelson

38, of Tucson, AZ died in Safford, AZ on February 12, 2024.

She was born in Amarillo, TX in 1985 to Teresa Johnson and Shawn Nelson. 

Jasmine is survived by her two sons, Daniel Heuser and Eli Sommer. Her parents Teresa Johnson and Shawn Nelson. As well as three sisters Amanda Warton, Jerzee Anderson and Riki Anderson. She also left numerous neices and nephews. Her Aunt Leslie and numerous paternal family members. As well as her chosen family of Dacey, Amber and Darlene.

Jasmine graduated Willcox High in 2003 then attended Eastern Arizona College and Pima Community College studying Psychology. She was also a talented florist trained at Throop Florist in Tucson 

 She was an intentional baby even though I was only 15. I wanted someone to love me. And she did. She loved everyone. No matter how broken.

 She was determined.

She completed her junior and senior year requirements while taking college courses to have enough credit to graduate with her class. She not only graduated with her class but was inducted into the National Honor Society. 

She fought her demons.

She lived with demons every day and these last few years they were getting the better of her. She lost too much. Had too many heartbreaks. 

Jasmines Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at 1000 am at Avenidas Funeral Home at

1376 W St Marys Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712, and the graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery at

3015 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.

There will be a potluck visitation/reception following the graveside service at Brandon and Jessica's home.
