So sorry to hear. My condolences to Janice's family.
Happy 63rd Memorial Birthday …
Happy 63rd Memorial Birthday my confidant ! ~ Myron

I only got to spend one moment in time with Janice, literally about fifteen minutes while sitting on a bench at the Rotary Park in Pittsfield; but in that small amount of eternity she changed my life forever. It was shortly after her seventeenth birthday that she noticed me in a moment of despair and with the few ameliorating words of encouragement and advice which when I implemented on the morrow; delivered me out of the terrible fix I was facing. Unfortunately, I never got to ever meet her again to properly thank her for the amazing help she provided me. If you can read this Janice, "Thank You and Happy 63rd Birthday !"    Ever so indebted,

                                                                                     ~ Myron

Dear Howard --  As a long-time patient of yours, I have always enjoyed not just your wonderful expertise but your stories about other parts of your life and some of the great laughter we have shared over the years.  I just called to make an appointment with you and haven't seen you since last November and just heard about your loss.  I can only send you a big hug from afar right now, but know that you are really deep in my thoughts!

Dear Howard,

I was very sorry to hear of your loss.  I always enjoyed chatting with Janice, whether is was a game, school event, 4th of July parade, or just out walking.  Last time I saw her was walking at Catamount.  We realized 2 of our daughters worked for the same company.  It was always fun running into her.  I enjoy her company very much!  Thinking of you and your family.

Howard and family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. I never met her but I know I would have enjoyed doing so. Howard, you couldn't have been the caring and generous dentist and person you are without her support and love. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Howard,

I am very sad to hear about Janice's passing.  She was a lovely lady and a gracious hostess those few times I had dinner at your home when I  worked  for you.  May her memory be eternal 🙏  Strength to you, my friend,  and your daughters.   Athena

While saddened to hear of Janice's passing, we are overjoyed at having met her and for memories at the Novak homestead and local VT adventures.
To Janice's family, I am so sorry to learn of Janice's passing. She was our executive assistant back in the 1990's, exact dates I'm not sure of. Janice always had a smile and a cheerful disposition which we needed at times in operating a large hotel. She was a great employee and ray of sunshine in our office. Sorry she has passed at such a young age . I hope you all can find some comfort in themany good memories you had with her. May she rest in peace.

Dear Novak family,

I graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1978 with Janice.  What I remember about Janice is that she always had a smile on her face and was friendly and kind to everyone, which is a big deal in high school.  May she rest in peace.  My condolences to your beautiful family.

Dear Howard and family,

I am so saddened to hear of your beloved  Janice’s passing. I remember the joy and excitement when you first met Janice during your residency training in Pittsfield, MA.  It seems just like yesterday. You were so excited and wanted us to meet the love of your life. What a beautiful lady! We were happy to have you and Janice  come back and visit once you left. I’m so sorry for your loss and wish I could be there to give you a big hug Howard. You were such a kind soul and we could see the happiness you two shared.  Hold on to the precious memories! Tears will some day turn to smiles. With sincere thoughts and prayers for comfort at this sad time. Joan Gore DiSiena

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of your wife.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
One of the strongest.  I remember Janice consoling ME when she'd gotten her first diagnosis, because I was upset for her : now that's kindness and resilience!  Since that time, we have had so many walks and snowshoe tramps together.  I will miss your bright laugh forever.   Kathy

Dear Howard … I was shocked to hear the news of Janice’s passing… on my last trip to Vermont, we shared a breakfast…Janice  was vibrant and happy and we talked about the love we have for our families.  She was so proud of your girls and their life plans… my heart breaks at the thought of her not being there for all that is still ahead for your family. I know, however that her love will continue to warm you from above and her Spirit will always be by her family’s side.. I will miss her ….  My deepest condolences to you and your girls and family.. my heart and prayers are with you at this sad time..

Dear Howard and Family, Thursday morning I had a sense that Golf Course Rd. lost a very caring, compassionate, giving  and talented resident. We are so sorry for your loss. Janice always had a smile and a wave for me as I worked in my gardens. It was a pleasure to have lunch with her one August noon last summer. With much admiration for her grace & bravery. Dear Novak family,

I am so sorry to learn of Janice’s passing.  I went to high school with Janice, and was happy to reconnect with her on Facebook.  She was always so friendly and kind.  While Janice mentioned her cancer battle, I didn’t know it had been years.  Her strength and resilience is remarkable.  May God bless and comfort your family.  Godspeed, Janice.  May you rest in eternal peace.

With deepest sympathy,

Mary Ellen Manning
