“Bon Voyage!”

Janice Lai passed away gracefully at home on March 23, 2022 at the age of 72. Janice is survived by her caring husband Sunny, her two affectionate sons, Anson and Henry, her attentive daughter in-law Veronica, her tightly-bonded siblings and extended family both in Canada and in Hong Kong, and her adoring grand-dog Finnegan.

Janice will always be remembered for her warm, supportive, and generous personality. Her kindness was well respected. She was loyal and trustworthy, and was a true pillar to those around her. Janice enjoyed connecting with others on an intimate level to share experiences, especially when she traveled abroad.

Janice and the family would like to say thank you to all the nurses and doctors for their compassion and care at the Foothills Medical Centre. Their strong sense of duty was commendable.

A private family service will be held at the COUNTRY HILLS CREMATORIUM & FUNERAL SERVICES, 11995 16 Street NE, on Saturday April 2, 2022 at 1pm.  All expressions of sympathy are welcomed, including flowers from our florist at Flower Chix (order to be made at 403-984-4260 before Thursday March 31st), or by any honorary donations in memory of Janice Lai to Anson or Henry which will be forwarded to the Foothills Medical Centre through the Calgary Health Foundation.
