Janice Jackson, previously Katz, age 80 passed away on December 3, 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was surrounded by family members in her final hours and will be deeply missed. Janice was born on September 6, 1945. At the time of her passing Janice resided in Germantown, Pennsylvania. Janice is survived by her sons, Christopher Jackson Sr. and Scott Jackson, her 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren as well as her brother Robert Katz, and niece Kim. Janice was known for her love of family, animals, community, reading and the performance arts. She will be remembered for her commitment and dedication to the Education Law Center and Philadelphia Bar Association, along with her dedication to her family, and being a voice for animals. A private celebration of life will be held with close family and friends on Saturday December 13th
