Janice was the third of 5 siblings. She was definitely a warrior, having her hands full with 3 children, all of whom had physical or mental challenges. I remember as a child the many issues I personally had with having spina bifida and the time and dedication my mom gave to me. She had a love for baseball, and for many years was a pitcher and played for the Angels and Dingbats. She helped coach T Ball in Thorold for 6 yrs. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Janice volunteered with The Fort Erie Salvation Army as the head cook for the Outreach Food Truck. She came in EVERY Monday 52 weeks/year for more than 10 years. Even in difficult times she found humor and something to laugh at which would cheer up those around her. She came in anytime for any job that was needed done - food bank, Christmas, administration, there was no limit to what she would try & do well.
I know many of you have so many wonderful memories of my mom, and I would love if you could share them.
