Sue and I became friends in 1999 when she was Dr Ollila’s secretary and I was graduate studies secretary. Just as you said she could make you feel very special and loved. We were fellow church members at Faith Baptist and I appreciated her gentle care of friends new and old. Sue made everyone feel at home. She will be dearly missed.

You will be forever missed, my mother, my confidant , my best friend. So grateful your suffering has ended and you are in the arms of the one that has carried you all these years to the very end. He has been faithful to you and through you. Psalms 116:15
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.❤
I carry you in my heart...
Mama is home sweet home.
She is completely restored in the presence of her Savior.
Our hearts ache for the loss of our mama. In the same breath, we rejoice she has now been made completely new. She joyfully knew this was not her home, she was just passing through. Her eyes stayed focus on her calling here on earth. Her hope was in her heavenly Father and she shared that boldly.

Her final moments were filled with peace and surrounded with love.

I'll miss her stories she loved to tell - filled with His miracles and His goodness. She always knew all the details, it showed she cared so much. It's who she is!

I'll miss seeing her every morning growing up reading her Bible with tears streaming down her sweet face.

I'll miss our chats and giggles where she would tell me I was her naughty one. And always before we were done she'd end with I love you, my precious one.

I'll miss her love of girlie things. She had the best perfume, Clinique (only) lipstick and cute clothes! She would stop me running out of the house growing up to clean up a bit.

I'll miss her encouragement in ministry to get my eyes focused on Him on the hard days and the good days.

I'll miss her mama love on my ugly spirit days.

I'll miss her adoration for my kids and my Aaron Hilton who she felt walked on water and could do no wrong...ever! She knew it was probably my fault if he did.

I could go on all night about her many attributes. She wouldn't like us focusing on those things. She would want to give Him all glory and credit for any good in her. So that we will do. Thank you Jesus for my beautiful perfect for me mama. I'm forever grateful for the moments I had on this earth with her.

In her dying days, she loved to hear Fanny Crosby’s “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o’ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Hark! ’tis the voice of angels,
Borne in a song to me,
Over the fields of glory,
Over the jasper sea.
Refrain:
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o’ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world’s temptations,
Sin cannot harm me there.
Free from the blight of sorrow,
Free from my doubts and fears;
Only a few more trials,
Only a few more tears! [Refrain]
Jesus, my heart’s dear refuge,
Jesus has died for me;
Firm on the Rock of Ages,
Ever my trust shall be.
Here let me wait with patience,
Wait till the night is o’er;
Wait till I see the morning
Break on the golden shore.
