In loving memory of our mother, Janet Nowak, who peacefully passed away on July 14th. She was the devoted wife of Eric Nowak and leaves behind her children, Erica and Natalie Nowak. Janet was also the loving sister of Stanley Mika.

Our mother was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Janet Nowak was a successful businesswoman who took pride in opening First Lady Beauty Salon, where she ensured that all the ladies looked their absolute best. She cherished her colleagues, who became her closest friends. Janet was a dedicated and beloved member of the Lincoln Square Community and Queen of Angels (Apostles) Parish.  She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.

The memorial service will be held at Queen of Angels Church (Queen of Apostles Parish), 2330 W. Sunnyside Ave. Chicago, IL 60625 on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at 10:30am. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  Mama, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
