When I was in my early high school years, Granjan would take me to the opera which despite my grievance I actually loved. She had season tickets. We also used to go see movies together when pops was traveling.  Particularly remember seeing “The Shining”. We shared books, and dreams of building a clock and weed. She loved to play backgammon where she would pose the phrase, “care to play a game of chance and involving dice?” I love her very much. Her cooking was amazing, her laughter was infectious. She was a wonderful Granjan for my sons. My prayer is that she is now with pops at their cabin in the sky. 

Corie and Holly, you have my deepest love and sympathy. Your mom raised two amazing, fierce women. I’m grateful to her for bringing you into life!
