Janet's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our families Matriarch, Janet Cornell. Born on July 6, 1942 and met her peaceful end on March 27, 2024. Janet was a loving, devoted, and caring woman whose spirit radiated warmth and kindness. The strongest and most selfless individual you were blessed to know.
Janet's enduring lesson to all those who had the privilege to know her was simple yet profound: To love everybody. Her belief in family and giving truly left a mark on everyone she encountered. Her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory and teachings continue to inspire and guide us.
She is survived by her cherished 5 children Bobby, Bonnie, Billy, Barbara, and Brenda, two sisters Nancy Arrington and Carol Schafer. And brother, Sony Clinedinst. She also has 14 grandchildren who she absolutely adored and had a strong bond with. She was blessed with many great grandchildren! The bond they shared was incredibly special, and everyone of us will carry on grandmother's loving spirit and life lessons.
A Celebration of Life for Janet will be held at 1:00 PM on March 31, 2024. The service will take place at Janets home, 23531 School House Rd. Ruther Glen, VA 22546. This gathering will allow those who loved Janet to remember, mourn, and celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
