Janet's obituary
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janet Hair Brickell, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Janet, a beacon of kindness, care, and unimaginable generosity graced our lives from December 7, 1958, until she departed from us too soon on July 3, 2023.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her dear husband and confidant Tom Brickell, her two loving children, Jason Brickell (Alyssa Owen) and Chris Brickell (Jamie Brickell) and her four cherished grandchildren: Lyric Telander, Olive Brickell, Rowan Brickell, and Thompson Brickell.
Janet's legacy is one of boundless love, selflessness, and sincere concern for others. Those fortunate enough to know her understood that she would go to any lengths to help others. She found joy in shopping, cherished the enduring friendships she cultivated over five decades, and found solace in the company of her sisters and life long friends. She had a passion for decorating, music, and the simple pleasures of traveling to the beach and lake. Above all, spending precious moments with her family brought her the greatest happiness. Janet possessed an unparalleled ability to anticipate and prepare for life's occasions, effortlessly ensuring that everyone else's lives were made easier. She was the glue that held our family together, and her vibrant and beautiful presence will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Janet will be held on September 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM at her residence located at 1415 Liberty Grove Road in Alpharetta, GA. We extend an invitation to all those whose lives were touched by Janet to join us in commemorating and celebrating her remarkable life and the legacy she leaves behind.
