Jane V. Perry(Darnall) born August 27, 1944 in Taunton, Massachusetts, passed away on April 15, 2025 in Surprise, Arizona.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Luella Darnall.  Jane shared a devoted marriage  with her late husband, Robert L. Perry.  She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Julie Stroud and son-in-law Pat Stroud; her son Robert M. Perry and daughter-in-law Erin Perry.  Jane was a cherished grandmother to Alex Hannon, Eric Stroud and Matthew, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Samuel and Hayden Perry.  Her cousin Douglas also held a special place in her life.

Jane spent much of her life in Des Moines, Iowa; Prescott, Arizona and Surprise, Arizona. Among Jane’s greatest joys was being a grandmother and she also had a deep affection for animals, especially cats.  She found comfort in the companionship of her cat Gabby during her final days.

May Jane’s memory bring peace and warmth to all who knew and loved her.  Jane requested no services and donated her body to Science.  Gabby thinks the best way to honor her Mama is through a memorial donation to Furry Friends Refuge at 3505 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines Iowa 50265.
