Jane Elizabeth List, 95, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Recently new to Tucson, she was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on October 17, 1928, to Israel and Grace Levine.

My mother led a very interesting life. She started taking ballet at a young age and was still dancing until the 1970s. Jane found the man of her dreams, in my father, and lived a life wanting for nothing. We would be driving along, and if she saw a sign for an antique store, she insisted on having a look. Jane loved decorating, so her house was always filled with beautifully designed antiques and furniture. She had a very extensive art collection.

Jane was a knockout and dressed beautifully at all times. Despite the devastating loss of my father in 1979, and my sister in 2004, she always handled life with grace. After my father passed, she had a series of male companions, all of whom she outlived. In her declining time, she often said what a wonderful life she had had.

Jane is survived by her brother, Richard Levine (Sherry), many nieces and nephews, and her daughter, Suzanne List. May her memory be a blessing to all that knew her.
