Jane Krueger Obituary

Jane Elizabeth Krueger (nee Reichard) passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, at the age of 60, in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. By her side was the love of her life, her husband of 20 years, Kevin Krueger. Jane was born on June 26, 1963, in St. Louis, the 8th of 9 children born to Thomas E. Reichard and Mary R. (Young) Reichard.

In her younger years, Jane attended Kirkwood High School, where she excelled as a track star, with records that remained unbroken for many years after her graduation. She then went on to further her education and track career at Southeast Missouri State University, as a scholarship athlete.

Jane had a deep love for the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed attending games or watching them on TV. She also enjoyed walking and exercising at the gym, date nights out and spending quality time at home with her loving husband, Kevin, and their precious cat, Isis (Icy Boy)

Left with her cherished memories are her husband, Kevin, and her eight siblings and their spouses: Mary Ohlsen, Laura (Jeff) Bledsoe, Bill (Kim) Reichard, Joe (Mary) Reichard, Julie (Walter) Osborne, Amy (Lewis) Massey, Tom (Patty) Reichard, and John (Grace) Reichard. She was a loving aunt to her 12 nephews, 8 nieces, 4 great nephews, 5 great nieces, many cousins and friends. She will truly be missed by all.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas E. Reichard and Mary R. (Young) Reichard. Their memories will be in our hearts forever.

Jane was the sweetest and kindest person one could ever meet. She had a warm and inviting personality, making it easy for others to connect with her. Her infectious laugh and constant smile brought joy to everyone around her. Jane's departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. Her beautiful, kind spirit, and infectious laughter will be deeply missed, but her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.

Jane's final wish was to donate her body to Washington University for medical research. A private family celebration of Jane's life will be held to honor her life and the memories she created.
