I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Jane's passing. We had been great friends when I lived in STL throughout our 20s. I can still hear her joyous and hearty laugh. We had so many great times together. She came to see me when I moved to Colorado and again when I moved to Texas. Even though we each went our own ways over the years, I will always consider Jane a friend. I love you, Jane. Kevin, I am glad you two met, I can see the mutual love and affection through these pictures. Until we meet again, sweet Jane.
Jane and I were teammates and friends at Kirkwood High School. I remember a quote she gave to a reporter on a late evening at the State Meet after we had just won the 2 Mile relay setting a school and state meet record! She said, “what a day, what a night, what an adventure” As I look back now, that statement really reflects Jane and her life to a tee! We never let her forget the elegant nature of her quote, but we all see now that she was beyond her years. As I think of her now, all I can see is that huge smile, her infectious laugh and the joy that she always exuded! I will carry that with me always! 💜
Beautiful, sweet, conscientious, kind, considerate, loving Jane. A little sister with such a big heart, the most infectious laugh, gentle spirit and unconditional support and care for all she loved.
