I want to give my condolence to the family. I am so sorry for the lost of your love one. May the peace of God that excels all thought I sustain and keep you during the difficult days head. – Philippians 4:7
"You are like a fresh breeze, always there for anyone that needed someone to care, You were like a mom to me Jane ( Achara) I will always think of you, Fly High our sweet angle Love always Sasha"
In typical Gaelic Tradition a Bard writes a Ode or Saga for a Warrior. I felt this would suffice:
Achara’s Last Ride ~ a Saga by ~ Alphynen
You see yourself floating in the corner over a bed watching a woman you know struggle and wheeze. For You see DEATH is hard, and unrelenting in its pursuit. This woman begins to change before your eyes. Her skin shines and gleams like oiled ivory. Her eyes close and her body relaxes. Then, Suddenly You are transported to a new Perspective. You now float over a vast plain of rippling wheat, and as the moon dips past the horizon, You see the glimmer of a gloaming dawn. As the gloaming warms, you see a lump of clay. And that lump begins to change and shimmer. As the mists burn away. You hear a sudden sound. A strike of hoof on shale. A spark flashes. A glimmer of golden mane and shining bronze body.. A neigh that trumpets. Shakes the early morning view. Then Slowly A Woman emerges from the clay. All shiny and new. We see that this is the same one that we had seen before. But fresh of limb and shapely. The Sun Sparkes. And the Stallion of the dawn races down to her, She leaps and seizes his mane. And turns to you, and nods once. Then turns and strokes the stallion. He rears, And then They both race across the fields of wheat. The mists ripple and change and a flood of horses, Shimmer into sight and race behind the pair. Off they go, Into that gloaming sunrise. And on into The Elysium fields of legend.
Jane's fastest and richest racehorse was Threefiftyseven (Magnum). She took this pic of us between races at a county fair in Illinois. He was a really neat horse to work with!
Before Spike Magoo, Jane had Be Sprite. He wasn't a great racehorse, but she retrained him as a hunter/jumper. Jane was quite a good rider when we were all younger!
