She was a great mom. That is what I remember about her... she was an amazing mother, not just to her children, but others as well

Two things come to mind when thinking of my friend, Jane. 1. “The salt of the earth”. Strong, trustworthy, loyal. Qualities we all treasure in a friend.
2. The Bible description of a capable wife. Industrious, always seeking to help and show love to her family. What a good example she was!
My sympathy goes out to all the Gyllenskog family.

One of my earliest memories about Aunt Jane was our many family reunions held at their home. She was so hospitable, reminding me of Grandma, who was happiest when she had all of her kids, grandkids and family surrounding her. We always had plenty of room at their place, to run around playing and reconnecting with all of our cousins. There was always plenty of food, laughter, fun and above all, love. She was so good about making the extra effort to see us, and helped out with Mom. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about her, and seeing even more of her beautiful qualities. Joe and I are missing her very much, but we can't wait until we can have a paradise family resurrection reunion to see her and all our loved ones again. What a joyful, happy time that will be. Our warmest love to you all.

I've known the Spangenburg family for 50+ years although I was younger than Jane and Lois and Connie and the rest. Then we crossed paths again with the RBC when Garry and Jane ran the saw shop. Great memories that will last a lifetime. Our condolences to the Rita and the rest of the family. Neil and Cindy Shaughnessy

It was the day of Garry & Jane’s 50th anniversary party. I’d bought Kirk a jacket to wear but the lining had a small tear that I thought I could fix. I tried so hard to fix it but I just didn’t understand a blind hem, my stitches always showed. When we got to their house, I was telling Jane about the trouble I’d had. She took the jacket, ripped out my bad stitches & then spent an hour showing me how to fix it when she could have done in 10 minutes by herself. She was patient and kind, and I will never forget that.

I loved that she was always practical, but ready to have fun. I’ll miss the way her eyes lit up when she smiled, but mostly I’ll miss watching her love her family. Her love for each one of us knew no bounds and her face clearly showed that whenever she saw you. ❤️

I met Jane on my first KH build in 2001 (double halls on Colter in Phx). I spent a lot of time helping the saw shop folks on that build. Jane was so welcoming and kind. She & Garry patiently taught us “newbies” how to help, instead of hinder. I joined the framing crew after that, where I worked with Rita. I enjoyed our time together on many builds over the years & remember Jane very fondly. I am so sorry for your loss.
