Background
Aunt Janie had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and her cat, Emma. She spoke often about wanting to volunteer at an animal shelter and she donated goods every year to nearby shelters. We are hoping to continue providing support to the things she cherished so dearly. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Best Friends Animal Society in her name. Best Friends is a nonprofit organization that operates the nation’s largest sanctuary for homeless animals and provides adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs. Their goal is to have a no-kill country by 2025. You can donate directly on their website at: https://bestfriends.org/

How are donations used?
Donations are used to make the biggest impact in ending the killing in America's shelters. This includes our major no-kill initiatives, funding our lifesaving centers, and grants to our Network Partner organizations.

$100 helps provide six weeks of formula for an orphaned newborn puppy.
