Jan Roberts Lackey, a long time resident of Irmo, SC and Lexington, SC passed away unexpectedly at the age of 63 in her home in Crestview, FL.

Jan is survived by her daughters, Cassandra Hunsicker and Courtney Lackey; her sister, Jill Roberts Fall; and her brother, Bryan Owen Roberts. She was a grandmother to four. She is predeceased by her father, James Edward Roberts and her mother, Lois Hix Roberts.

Jan was born on July 3, 1958 in Cookeville, TN to James and Lois Roberts. She graduated Putnam County High School and played clarinet in the marching band. She worked as a service advisor in various dealerships in the Columbia area for over 20 years. She was married for 8 years to Charles E Lackey, III. She divorced in 1996, and was a single mother to her two daughters. She was a very hard worker. Jan thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the beach. She loved listening to music and working outdoors. Jan will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her.
