oh my god, its no wonder Jan wasn't answering my emails. Jan was my student when I worked at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George BC. Brilliant guy, and we ended up being really good friends as I knew no body in BC. We went fishing, hunting, to movies, we played Magic the Gathering, he had old cars as did I. He forced me to quit smoking, got me into muscle building as he did this in the Military as a Military Police officer. He had a kid, got married, (I missed the wedding), and I moved away and his then wife hated me. Last time I saw Jan he was working in Fort Mac. and was flying back and forth from BC to Alberta. God damnit Jan. I'm going to miss you, you bastard. I considered you at the time my best friend. I still owe you a rib supper and now I'm never going to be able to pay you back.
