As the holidays neared, I gathered greeting cards I received from various charities and gave them to Jan, who mailed them to fans and friends. She expressed her warm thanks.
Our friendship started in December 1995 when Ray Boyle contacted our office for furnace service. Ray and Jan warmly welcomed me, and we enjoyed coffee, cookies, and conversation at their festively decorated home.
Over time, our relationship grew as we assisted with their heating needs. Jan regularly called us for repairs or replacements, and we always responded promptly. Each visit included warm conversation and homemade treats.
One afternoon, I saw Jan arranging greeting cards for her friends at the round table. Her steady handwriting impressed me, and I offered her some beautiful charity cards. Jan's gratitude was clear in her bright expression and warm hug. The moment was memorable for her joy and appreciation.
A few years ago, while replacing the ducts and furnace at Jan and Roy's home, I enjoyed working with them for several days. Jan always greeted us warmly with smiles and homemade cookies, despite the disruption. I have great memories of them and will miss them very much.
God Bless her soul and rest in peace,

Absolutely one of the finest Women God ever created. I was raised without a Mother present. 25 years ago she became my Mother. I was her other son. No one ever affected me more as a Shining Star of Warmth, Grace, Love and Affection. Always Bright with unwavering Values and Integrity. I will cherish the time I knew her. I Love You ❤️ Jan.
