Jamey's obituary
Jamey Davis, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away at the age of 58 on 12/17/2024, due to complications from surgery. Jamey lived in Arlington, Texas, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born the oldest of six children, Jamey was a man of great character and warmth. He was married to his devoted wife, Kristi Davis, and was the proud father of two sons, Brayden and Clayton Davis. His family was everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A lifelong enthusiast of the outdoors, Jamey was an avid hunter and fisherman, always finding peace in nature. He was also an exceptional cook, known for his delicious meals that brought joy to those around him.
Professionally, Jamey had a successful career in IT, where he worked for many years, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication. His friends and colleagues remember him as a kind and generous person, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Jamey was born into a large, loving family and was the eldest of six siblings. He is survived by his sisters, Jill Honeycutt, Leslie Caster, Michelle Pearson, Taylor Baxter, and JoDee Davis, who will carry on his memory.
A celebration of Jamey’s life will be held on Sunday, December 29th at 12:00 PM at Arlington Baptist Church. All who knew him are invited to join his family in honoring his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
Jamey will forever be remembered as a wonderful man who loved deeply, lived fully, and brought joy to everyone around him. His spirit will live on in his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched.
