James Wren, 67, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on October 28, 2022 after a battle with some long term heart issues.

James was born on January 16, 1955 After graduating from Trojan High School, After graduation, he landed his first job as a Steel worker for Georgia steal for 30. He met Connie Newton, and they wed in 12 years, going on to have two children, John Wren, Tashana Thompson (Wren) Kristina Wren. James loved his grandchildren John Wren ll, Kieyla Wren, Brilan Wren, Kayla Wren, Payton Wren so much! James was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to his than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of John, Kristina, and His wife Connie and always tried his best to support them.


James was also a passionate steel welder and could often be found welding, fishing or hunting when he wasn’t at home.


Anyone who knew James knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Viewing will be on Friday November 4, 2022 at Bonaventure Funeral Home at 3:00pm-6:00pm burial arrangements immediately following the service.
