Jayme's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James "Jayme" Howard on September 23, 2025. Born on November 3, 1971, Jayme was a beacon of light, laughter, and love in the lives of all those who had the privilege to know him.
Jayme is survived by a large and loving family. His wife Chrissa Howard her daughter Kelzey and their son Zayne Howard , His son, Gunnar Hill (Shea) and his grandchildren, Gatlin and Savannah Hill , his mother, Patty Deloach, and his father, Mike Deloach. His sisters Crystal Morales (Daniel Curtis 3rd and kids (Cy Splonge , Jr Morales and Sunshine ), Cody Mcglamery( Autumn , Choppy , Brianna Etc..) His brothers Shane Gates , Jimmy Forrester (Katie), Shannon Ball, Sean Phillips, Richard Suddarth (Theresa), Joshua Brock , David Cox (Melanie) , Randy Housman , Josh Lee (Liz) and extended family Katie Kiehl , Keeley Dawson , Jeff Mcfarlin, Sharo Vanhook , Jeff Pate and so many more great friends that are just like family that will continue to carry Jayme's memories. He was predeceased by his brother, Jason Keathley and his grandparents, Bracy and Arlious Owens.
Jayme's love for life was apparent in everything he did. From early morning breakfasts for his family and friends to the continuous sound of music always playing throughout the house. He found joy in the simple pleasures of playing the guitar and laughing with friends and family, His love for music was so profound that he taught himself to play the guitar at the age of 18, despite not being able to read sheet music he could hear a song and later on that day play it . A true natural talent he also played other instruments including the piano, drums, and harmonica.
His personality was vibrant and truly one of a kind , he loved his family was a caring friend , a politic and a comedian he always had a funny story to tell or outrageous advice to give , he could make you laugh until your sides hurt . He never met a stranger and was always there to help a friend in need, offering a warm bed, couch or just to crash out on the floor , great food , or clothes and shoes. Jayme's house was always a safe haven , a welcoming place that radiated the same kindness and acceptance that Jayme embodied.
His legacy is one of love, kindness, laughter, and fun times. His life was a demonstration of the quote "Live life to the fullest ". Jayme will be missed every day and every minute by his wide circle of family and friends. His light will live on in the hearts of all those he touched.
