James Maximillian Werner Jr., 79, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Born March 30, 1946, Jim lived a life defined by service and accomplishment. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served as a Second Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division, an honor he carried throughout his life.
Jim valued his family and remained closely connected, visiting Ohio each year. Drawn to the Sunshine State, he found his paradise at the beginning and end of each day and now lives in eternal paradise.
No services will be held in Ohio. To honor his memory, please bless a veteran and let them know they are not torgotten.
