Jim was the best brother I could ask for. I was 10 years younger, and didn't get to know him until well after he served his second term in the Army in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. I was in my late 20's when we reunited. He was living in Pensylvania at that time. We stayed up late into the night, laughing and getting to know each other as siblings. He was a faithful, supportive and loving brother to me from that day until the very end. When I was in the yachting industry in Florida, as he had also relocated there, we met up several times during my travels - smoking cigars (he loved them), drinking scotch whiskey and talking about guns. I noticed his health decline the last time I saw him in 2019. It broke my heart. Still, we stayed in touch. I spoke to him from 5 Dec until his passing. One day, God blessed me with a short coherent conversation that blew my mind... And now I know I'll see him in heaven. I love you so much Jimmy. I'll see you sooner than you think!!
