I had hoped to get this finished for Thanksgiving, but obviously I didn’t To everyone who came to ‘Skrat’s memorials- the one in June and the one in July- I can’t express how much it means to have seen you there, talked to you on the phone, or read your posts and comments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and friendship for my son. It was so amazing to see all the love pouring out in memory of James /Muskrat! Thank you all for your time and expression of your love and caring for him. Your love for him filled a lot of the emptiness for me and my daughters. And probably lifted James up too. I know he felt all your love too.

During this holiday season I want you to know how grateful I am for the deep, loving , and wonderful friendships Skrat/James had with all of you- and more. I will forever be grateful for you all.

I hope you have a beautiful and blessed holiday season with your loved ones as you hold them close.

My deepest & most sincere condolences go out to the Carpenter family & friends of James “Muskrat”. I, too, was heartbroken to hear of his passing but grateful to see so much love & sweet sentiments for a beautiful soul lost. I pray he sees it too.

It’s with deep sadness & regret that I can’t make it to his memorial service. However, I will honor & remember him in my own way…not just as an ex-girlfriend but as the friends we became years afterward.

May his celebration of life & his immortal, incredible art always grant us some solace that his light will never fully blink out of this world as well as the fact that our love & our memories of all the good times we were grateful to have had w/him are everlasting.

May his tender heart & soul Rest In Peace at last. Much love always. 🙏🏽💛💛💛
