Dear Norwich Brother Tim and family, I'm so sad to hear of your beloved fathers passing. In viewing his obituary he truly lived a wonderful and full life, especially at age 98! You are blessed with his similar character, integrity and hopefully his long lived genes. I'm fortunate to have known you as a fellow "Rook Buddy" our freshman year via E Company, and as fellow members of the Regimental Staff our senior year via HQ Company. I'm sure your dad and whole family were proud of you then and always. My father James was my best friend, who sadly passed away at age 79 in 2006. He too was of the WWII Greatest Generation via enlisting in the U.S. Navy at age 17 upon high school graduation, and sent immediately to the active Pacific theater in 1944. My deepest sympathy to you and your whole family during this time of sadness and remembrance of many fond memories. Your fathers proud legacy will live on through you and his entire generational family forever. With Love, Rich "Bee" Leatherbee, Norwich University Class of 1977
