"Internists are physicians, that is socially embedded scientists, deeply involved in the "people business." They are charged with the responsibility to make judgments for their patients to whom they have sworn a sacred oath, and with whom they have intimate relationships based on caring and trust."

Dr. Kennedy was my doctor in New York and even when I went to him when I wasn't feeling well I always loved seeing him. He was just so warm and funny and caring and he had the best office with beautiful pictures of his wife and children. I practically feel like I know his kids because I admired their pictures so many times!! I didn't realize he was so in love with nature, but that shouldn't surprise me. I haven't seen him since he left NYC and moved to Florida but I always will remember him for his wonderful warmth.
