Jim was a very important business and personal friend of my husband and I. We will never forget his kindness and support.

I had the privilege of being with Patti the night she met Jim.  He was obviously interested in her, but being the gentleman he was, he also gave me his business card, although his focus was on Patti.

We shared many wonderful memories over the years:  vacationing together, many shared holidays.  My husband, Dale, and Jim were golfing buddies.  So many amazing memories, for which we are thankful.

Jim was a wonderful man, husband and father.  He will be missed.

Words are inadequate at a time like this.  My heart breaks for Patti, Katherine and Lauren.  My love surrounds them.

So sorry to hear of Jim passing.... I remember working with him at South Texas sales office of IBM in the mid 70's. Later I connected with him  in 90's when he was working in San Antonio  (Avnet) .  Wonderful person.  very professional  who impacted many lives. I know he will be sorely missed. Lifting up his family in prayer in this difficult time.

I worked for Jim at Avnet and Calence.  Simply the best boss and human being I ever came into contact with.  Played many rounds of golf with Jim.  He was like a brother to me.  Never a harsh word spoken.  I will miss him dearly.  Mike Arriens
Sad for your loss.  May you enjoy fond memories.
Jim and I both worked for IBM.  After Jim left IBM, he worked for me at Sirius.  We were best friends.   He was a great husband and father.  I will miss my special friend.
