James's obituary
James L. “Jim” Stephenson of Shiloh went to meet his maker on March 26, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Born April 10, 1951 in Bridgeton to James W. and Bertha Cooney Stephenson, Jim graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1969.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jane (Widdifield) Stephenson;
4 Children, Micki Roser (Daniel) of Hopewell, Kristina Stankiewicz (Stan) of Burdette, AR, Eric Stephenson (Jodi) of New Hope, PA, Jamie Williamson (Denny) of La Plata, MD
1 step child, Gregory Widdifield (Sue) of Shiloh.
13 grandchildren, Burl and Zac Kimble; Stanley, Spencer, and Olivia Stankiewicz; Lindsey Russell; Hunter, Anabelle, and Elliot Stephenson; Erin, Macie, Hannah, and Molly Williamson
3 step grandchildren, Carlie, Madison, and Delanie Widdifield
As well as a host of great-grandchildren and friends
Jim worked for the Bridgeton Police Department for 20 years and retired in 1999 due to a duty injury. He enjoyed his retirement by participating in Civil War reenactments, and building his railroading world.
The family will host an open house and memorial service at the Stephenson home, 118 Academy Street in Shiloh on Saturday Afternoon April 22nd from 12 Noon until 4.
