I just found out about Jim's passing. A relationship for over 20 years, he became one of my best friends. He loved his family and his friends. We always discussed swimming , skiing and guitar playing. I miss him. Great man. My regards to Evelyn, Jim and Kevin. We talked about all of you often too.

We had an amazingly rare snow storm during Jim’s Senior year at Gunn.  As far as I know Jim  was the first ever to ski the Palo Alto Hills Country Club golf  course!  From my house I saw him skiing the 8th fairway!  An Epic day!⛷

Evelyn. My heart goes out to you and your family. Jim was a stand up guy. I knew him from Kindergarten. I am blown away he left us but he will always be with us.

Love always, Judi

We were sadden to hear of Jim's passing. He was our financial advisor for more than 20 years and during that time, became a friend. Our sincere condolences to his wife, Evelyn and other family members. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you. Rest in Peace, Jim.
Jim and Evelyn were the best thing that happened to me during COVID. It was such a hard time for me and meeting our wonderful neighbors in Tahoe turned out to make COVID a blessing. We met Jim and Evelyn on Easter Sunday 2020. Our first encounter with Jim was fun and light-hearted.  We invited Jim and Evelyn over for dinner the following Friday and the rest is history.  Jim and I became special friends over the three years.  He was not only our neighbor, but he and Evelyn became family. Sebastian and I loved how Jim would walk into our house and sit down. I so enjoyed these visits and he made Tahoe extra special. Jim reintroduced mountain biking to me. He encouraged me to ride with him, and I am so glad I did. He gave me the gift of challenging myself and he was very patient. I loved how on our long rides, he would stop to call Evelyn during her workday break. He also took calls from his clients.  His family was everything to him. I admired this about Jim. He was a natural connector. The loss of Jim has been very hard and I will miss him terribly.

Called Jim up because we needed a 4th for our Saturday, 9/9, round of golf.  Of course he said “hell yes”!  Met up at Old Greenwood, great to see my old friend with a big smile on his face.  He said he was at the Barracuda golf tournament a few weeks prior hanging with James Jr.  He said James was killing it at work and how proud he was of him.  Jim came over for our group BBQ dinner Saturday night and got to meet all the guys!  He had gone for a mountain bike ride between golf and our dinner.  He said he needed the bike workout because his animal buddies were coming into town Thursday for mountain biking and golf at OG.  Everybody had a great time and Jimbo was looking forward to joining us next year!  God’s speed my friend, continue the party in Heaven.
