A lot of memories here, a lot of really great memories ♥️.  I met Ray through his sister, Debbie way back in 1974. Debbie & I met in high school and became life-long, inseparable best friends. Ray, as her older brother, and I believe just freshly out of the service, was very protective of his little sister. She and I were hell raisers and he was meaning to keep us out of trouble 😊. Many, many rides in his Hobo Van, many days and nights hanging out with him, many, many days spent with his siblings and family. Everybody knew Ray, and everybody loved him. We would lose touch sometimes as life went on, and then find each other again. I loved Ray, a very dear friend, and good man. I am sad to see him go, there is an empty space in my world now that was once occupied by the knowledge that my friend, Ray Spell, was out there giving the world hell. But my heart is also full with the love and the memories he showered on me throughout my life. Ray had a huge heart; if he loved you, you were umbrella'd with that love.  I love you, Ray. I'm sorry we hadn't spoken in a while.  R.I.P. my dear friend; God speed. 💔❤️
I’m going to miss my old friend Ray. We went back to the 90’s. I played guitar in a band with his son Jason.  Going to miss seeing him at shows, chatting with him about the old days and hearing him blow that harmonica on Sweet Home Chicago.  RIP.

Helping hands

Add to his legacy

Your father and I once fought over a girl. Became friends and then he married my sister, your mother.

Like many people in our lives, we drifted apart. Grief reunited us on several occasions. His son's passing as well as his wife. My daughter's passing and my son's as well.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all 3 of you girls as well as your families.

R.I.P Ray Spell
