James Luther Shouse, 63, passed away on the 9th of August 2023, at his home in Newport, KY. He was born on September 11, 1959, to the late Luther Shouse and Mary J. Hensley (Burton). Jim was a skilled window installer for most of his career and enjoyed forming connections with the people whose homes he improved. He loved animals and over the years cared for fish, snakes, birds, rats, dogs, and cats. Jim proudly supported the Vietnam Veterans of America and always flew his POW flag in reverence. He is survived by his son Christopher J. Shouse, his stepson Bill Brock, his stepdaughter Amber L. Niewadomski, his siblings John L. Shouse, Kim Nolan, Sherry Shouse, and Kelly Shouse, and his uncle John Burton. A gathering will be held to celebrate his life on September 10th, 2023, from 4pm to 6pm at a location to be determined.
