Jimmy's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of James "Jimmy" Sherber, born July 30, 1969, who departed this life on March 2, 2025. Jimmy was a self-confident, loving individual; a jokester who brought joy to those around him. His passion for life was infectious, evident in his love for hot and spicy foods, coffee, and the exhilarating music of AC/DC.
Jimmy is survived by his sister, Tammy Galloway, sister, Angel Sherber, his son, Jeremy Sherber, his uncle, Mitchell Mcmillian, his niece, Haley Walker, his niece, Kaitlyn Galloway, his nephew, Dakota Greene, and his nephew, Coby Galloway. Jimmy was predeceased by his mother, Bonnie Sherber, father, Jim Mullins, grandmother, Maudie Roller, grandfather, Porter Roller, and sister, Karen Mullins.
Those who knew Jimmy will remember his fondness for the movies 'Need for Speed' and 'Dukes of Hazzard', his competitive spirit during games of Uno and Yahtzee, and his love for recreational fishing and action movies. A firm believer in the power of fresh air and physical movement, Jimmy enjoyed horseback riding and taking long, thoughtful walks. His cherished local and vacation spots were Taco Bell, Texas, and Wyoming, respectively. His life was a vibrant tapestry, painted in his favorite color, red.
Jimmy's life was marked by his service to others, particularly through his involvement with the Cloverdale and Vanbibber fire departments. He was a man who was always ready to lend a hand in times of need. This legacy of love and service, combined with his enduring sense of humor, will live on in the hearts of his friends and family. Until we meet again, dear Jimmy, you will be profoundly missed.
