I just learned of the death of my dear and valued cousin, Jim. I have many fond and funny memories of our antics as children and we remained good friends throughout. Of course, I did not see as much of Jim as I would have liked. Rest in peace, Jim. When I join you, maybe we can work up a hot game of "nose" or kick the pants of Slim and The Boss (Jim will know what I mean). Rest well, old friend.

Dear Connie, Diana, Stephanie and family
We were deeply saddened by Jim’s passing. I have great respect for Jim as a friend and fellow school administrator. He worked tirelessly to help students, teachers and parents. We pray that you find peace to heal your hearts and bring you comfort.

Diana,
I only met your Dad once, but I was very impressed. He seemed to be such a gentle man and seemed so happy! You are blessed to have had him as your Father. My thoughts are with you and Mike on this sad day. Also, tell your sister I am thinking of her as well. May your memories of him shine bright in your heart forever!
I served with Jim as an administrator in emails and loved him very much. We came to the district about the same time. I remember his yellow corvette before he became such a devoted family man. We shared a love of camping and campers and of the Methodist church. The world has lost a good man. Angie averhoff
We will miss Jim so much as a friend and former co-worker. We were so saddened to hear of Jim's death. We know he will be missed so much by Connie and his daughter Diana and Stephanie. May God be with all of you during the coming month ahead.

His Friends,
Edmund And Sandra Wade
Dear Connie, Diana and Stephanie and families,
We have such great memories of Jim and his crazy long road trips to Idaho. He was a great man and will certainly be missed. Because of his long career in education and his love of Kansas University, we are making a donation to the general scholarship fund in his name at the College of Education at Kansas University. Our thoughts are with you all. Go Jayhawks!
Love,
Brett, Michelle, Jack and Claire
Our condolence to Connie & family. We are sorry to lose a good friend, a fishing partner, & someone who loved Colorado as much as we did. We’ll always remember all the fun times we all had together.

Connie and family: We are deeply saddened by Jim’s passing. Jim was a leader in our church here in Westcliffe, Colorado and was very active in the All Aboard Westcliffe organization which supports our railroad museum. He was a good friend and I venture to say his last game of hoops (horse) was played against me and a mutual friend, George Creighton. But what I will most remember was the bravery he demonstrated when he became ill. He didn’t try to hide it and approached his situation with great dignity. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
