James Ryan Watson, 54, of Appling, GA, entered into rest August 28th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd T. Watson; his grandparents, Daniel and Margarte Watson. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Vicki L. Watson; his daughters, Brandy M. Dean (Daniel), Elizabeth A. Watson, Rebekkah G. Watson and his adopted daughter Anna M. Lee.

He is also survived by his mother, Cheryl Kilpatrick; his siblings, Wendy C. Warren (James), Rodney L. Moore and his sister-in-law Albany A. Freshour.

James was a beloved grandfather to seven beautiful grandchildren. Aside from spending time with his grandbabies and his chickens, music was his passion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and building things with his hands. James was a Union Carpenter, Local 283 and was a member of Masonic Lodge 276, Harlem, GA. He had a huge heart, warm hugs and a beautiful soul. He will forever be missed!

An Outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on: 

Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 5:00p.m 

Hosted at the home of his daughter, Elizabeth Watson.
