James's obituary

James was born to the late Lexie Robinson and the late Rushia Bishop Robinson in Watervalley, MS. He was raised in a Christian home with 10 siblings. James acceptant Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Green MBC under the leadership of The late Rev. P. L. Morgan. James attended school in the Panola County School System and graduated from Batesville High School in 1961. He had a passion for big trucks which lead him to move to Memphis, TN. He drove trucks and hauled heavy equitment for over 40 years until his retirement. James also had a passion for fishing and shooting pool. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memories his soulmate for over 40 years Jennifer Smith, 3 daughters Maria Shaw of CA, Linda (Keith) Rambo & Lisa Stewart both of Memphis, TN, 1 son Tallie Robinson, 9 grandchildren Kandren Shaw, David Fletcher, Sheronica (Kajuan) Hull & Lisa Fletcer all of CA, Lashunda (Darrius) Porter of SC, Shaketa Rambo, Alvin (Andrea) Crook, Tyronda Henderson, & Tyleeza Williams all of Memphis, TN, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, 2 sisters Dorothy (Royce) Coleman of IL & Erie Fouche of Memphis, TN, 3 brothers Isom B. Robinson, Lexi J. (Julia) Robinson both of MS, & Joseph (Mary) of IL and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was perceed in death by both his parents, a son Prentiss Robinson, 4 brothers Lyvert Robinson, Lemoyne Robinson, Joyclan Robinson & Tommy Lloyd Robinson, 1 sister Vera Robinson & a son in law Charles Stewart.
