James's obituary
One of the funniest souls on this planet, our father was always the one making people laugh out loud. He loved to get together and party with family and friends. He enjoyed good food, music, dancing the Carolina Shag, playing golf, and hanging out with his dog Buddy. He proudly served our country most his life. He was as a Navy veteran, and he worked as a nuclear welder at the Charleston Naval Shipyard for many years. After retiring from the shipyard, he worked at Trident Medical Center for the remainder of his working years. He was a former President of the Charleston Shag Club, and spent many years dancing and hangin' with friends at Pivots in West Ashley. He was also a Master Mason (AFM) and active in his younger years.

Sweetest Daddy Poo, we will miss your physical presence but know you are beside us always in spirit. You will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
