Dr Garcia graduated from Adams State college in the 70’s. He always reminded me about our language, music and dance so vibrant and presents in our lives then. He lived with a song in his heart which he shared with all he met. Gloria Lopez- amiga.
Our condolences to the entire family. You were a good friend who loved them people of this community. RIP my friend
So sorry for the family. Mr Montoya was a great man he was my son teacher and was a very nice man. We just talked to him couple months ago at Denny’s in Espanola. He was very proud for my son joining the Military. May he rip God bless the family 😥

Dr Garcia you were such a class act. You were wise, talented and passionate about education. You shared your wisdom with many and the world will miss you and your infinite wisdom. It was a pleasure to work with you!
Dr LeAnne Montoya
I talked to him in Walmart. I wish we had exchanged addresses to continue 'our' reminiscing of Trinidad trivia. I am sad to know he is gone. We have lost a knowledgeable, honest and wonderful, person!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Garcia, may he continue to sing to the angels.
My heartfelt sympathy to the Garcia family. Dr. Garcia shared many stories over the years about his family, his faith and his life in education, not to mention his singing. He was part of the Trojannaires at Trinidad State, and later was on an international acapella group where he traveled the US singing. What a beautiful voice! May Bob rest in peace as he continues to sing with the angels!
My heart goes out to the Garcia family. As a young student at EWC, Bob's first year there, his confidence in me and his encouragement at a difficult time in my life had a profound, lasting effect. I attribute his belief in me and his ongoing mentorship after I left EWC to much of my success. He will always have a special place in my heart.
My sincere condolences to the García family. I really enjoyed my time teaching with Dr. García in Pecos. I learned a lot from him.
To the entire family of Dr Garcia, my sincere condolences. He had a lovely voice that he was very happy to share wherever he went. May our Heavenly Father comfort you as only He can and may Dr Garcia rest in perpetual light and peace.
I am so sorry for your loss! He will be missed by all who knew him as a strong, caring man. Bob and I have roots in Trinidad and it’s nice to know he will return and Rest In Peace!
Our heartfelt condolences to his family. We always enjoyed visiting with Dr. Garcia and listening to stories about his many adventures in education. His contributions to the education of children here in NM will live on. Que en paz descanse. Yolanda and Nick Jaramillo (Educator colleague in Pecos, NM)
Bob and I were good friends when we worked together at Eastern Wyoming College. We had many interests in common, including the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. We studied together in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. We also hunted together for many years. He was a good man who cared about others, and he helped many, many people in his various roles. I send my best wishes to his family, and my farewell to him. Adios, hermano.
I knew and respected Bob as an educator in Torrington. He and I referred basketball and volleyball together. My condolences to Aaron and the Garcia family. Marv Haiman
