Dr Garcia graduated from Adams State college in the 70’s. He always reminded me about our language, music and dance so vibrant and presents in our lives then. He lived with a song in his heart which he shared with all he met. Gloria Lopez- amiga.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Garcia family. Dr. Garcia shared many stories over the years about his family, his faith and his life in education, not to mention his singing. He was part of the Trojannaires at Trinidad State, and later was on an international acapella group where he traveled the US singing. What a beautiful voice! May Bob rest in peace as he continues to sing with the angels!

Bob and I were good friends when we worked together at Eastern Wyoming College. We had many interests in common, including the Spanish language and Hispanic culture. We studied together in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. We also hunted together for many years. He was a good man who cared about others, and he helped many, many people in his various roles.
