    James was born to [parents’ names] on February 19, 1949 As a child, He was a standout athlete in football. He continued playing rec league sports and travel ball. He was a dynamic shortstop.

    James met his wife, Bobby in 1969.They married 1970 and went on to have 1 child, son Felix Manual (Angelia) of Suffolk, VA, daughter Shonda Smith of Knoxville, TN, daughter Renea Porter of Knoxville, TN, son Tony Richardson (Marcie) of Dandridge, TN, son Rusty Allen of Knoxville, TN, daughter Jill Mclarin of Jackson, TN and son Terrell Dockery of Morristown, TN. addition to being a dedicated and loving father. Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

    James joins  Aaron and Edith Richardson, brother Bobby Richardson (Martha) of Waynesboro, TN in Heaven. He is survived by his spouse Bobbie Richardson of Dandridge, TN, children, son Felix Manual (Angelia) of Suffolk, VA, daughter Shonda Smith of Knoxville, TN, daughter Renea Porter of Knoxville, TN, son Tony Richardson (Marcie) of Dandridge, TN, son Rusty Allen of Knoxville, TN, daughter Jill Mclarin of Jackson, TN and son Terrell Dockery of Morristown, TN. His siblings, brother Billy Richardson (Diane) of Texas, sister Mary Stewart (Eddie) of Nashville, brother Tommy Richardson, sister Dorothy Moody (James) of Nashville, TN, sisters Betty Gudger and Linda Richardson of Newport, TN, brother Lawrence Richardson (Lisa) of Nashville, TN, sister-in-law Diane Neal (Jamie Byrge) of Dandridge, TN, brother-in-law Doug Branner of Dandridge, TN, Aunt Edna Taylor of Dandridge, TN, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
