Background

Randy Robert's devoted his life to caring for many cats and kittens dumped on his dead end road and many times thrown over the fence into his yard in Bartow County, GA where there is an severe shortage of local help available for the many homeless animals or those in the community trying to care for them.
In 2019 he had every cat in his care fixed, micro-chipped , combo tested and vaccinated but in 2020 due to health issues and the financial problems that followed he struggled to keep everyone fed. He tried to find help getting cat food but was unable and went without many basic necessities including food for himself to make sure the cats had the food and litter needed. This amazing and devoted man slept in his van at night with Momma cats and their kittens to keep them safe and to provide the socialization they needed right up to when he left for hospice care. His only concern as he faced death was that his beloved animals were able to get the help needed to find homes once he was gone.
Randy passed away on November 23, 2022 a few days after a video chat to say goodbye to Betty Boop who was one of the Momma cats left in the van who is now with a local foster learning how to be comfortable living inside a home. Cats are still being dumped that will need to be fixed and a new kitty was just discovered in the outdoor shelter helping itself to a little Christmas dinner. Funds are needed for food and litter for his 31 cats until rescues can be found and most will be need to be transported to out of state rescues as several are blind and many have special needs. Transport funds are needed along with vaccines, combo tests, dewormer and flea meds. Please help us fulfill his dying wish
