Jim was very interested in my marine business and accompanied me almost every day for a full summer  as he was fascinated by my work. I loved every single one of those days and miss him tremendously. My most sincere condolences to Heather,  Caitlin, Christopher and Timothy.

I was so sorry to hear the news about Jim.

I'll always remember the many years I worked with Jim at Eppcon, as well as camping together in Denmark in 1999, where I really got to see his fearlessness and curiosity in action. I learned quite a bit from him, both on and off the job, and I'm grateful for that.

My heartfelt condolences to Vicki and the whole rest of the family.

I've had the honor of working closely with Jim over the years. He has inspired many with his work ethic and dedication to his job. He was also a good man and role model. My condolences to his family, and he will be missed by many!

My sympathy goes out to his mother, children and other family members.  I am so glad he was able to attend his daughter/my granddaughter's (Caitlin) wedding.

Jim was a kind, warm hearted man. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim was a loving grandfather to my Son Jacob, and a loving Stepfather to me.

He will be sadly missed. His sense of humor, his spontaneous personality are what I remember Jim for and will always be in my heart. Jim taught me the love for all things food, taught me to be curious and have a love for the simple things in life, taught me that there are no bounds to what can be achieved in life except for the excuses we make for not doing so.

Jim had a good heart and was always kind to me.

I know that he is in a better place now, not suffering or in pain.

May he rest in peace.
