Jimmy... what I remember most is that he was a tough guy, but he had a very big heart. He was always sweet to me and made me laugh all the time.  When he was younger, he would do all kinds of incredible and sometimes dangerous acrobatic jumps and tricks to entertain the rest of the kids. I was always amazed that he didn't get badly hurt. He was an entertainer, and I loved hearing his funny stories. He truly loved his family and friends. Although I didn't see him often once I moved to Florida, I still considered him family. Maria and Damaris, please know that I have you in my heart.
My heart is so so sad right now at the loss of Jimmy.  I have many fond memories of Jimmy when we were young.  I loved the way he laughed at so many crazy things that went on in the Grajales home.  I feel like he was part of our family because he was always around our family.  I have many moments that I can mention, like the time he yelled out to all the kids on our school bus that they had better not mess around with me or they would have to deal with him! He said I was his cousin.  I can tell you that no one messed with me on the school bus!  One winter day, I missed my bus and was on my way back home which was past the Pabon home.  He said, what happened you missed the bus?  I said yes, so he said, "you can hang out here if you want."  I had stayed with Jimmy's family in the past and so, I said ok.  So we watched TV cartoons and he fed me lunch and snacks until school let out and I went home.  He was always trying to feed me because I was so skinny.  Jimmy treated me like a big brother.  When he would hang out with my little brother David, I would tag along and he would teach me how to kick like Bruce Lee.  LOL, of course I wasn't that good but Jimmy always made me feel like I did great!  He also taught me how to twirl around nunchucks.  On another occasion, I remember riding on his bike down the hill on Dikeman street, David on the back and me on the handle bars.  I thought, this can't be good, but hey, Jimmy's riding the bike, he's got this!  We didn't fall and it was fun.  These are just some of my memories of Jimmy.  He was a big part of our childhood and he will remain in our hearts forever.  In God's New World, I look forward to seeing him again...young again, healthy again, happy again, together with all those loved ones we've loved and lost.  My condolences to Maria, Damaris and the rest of the family and friends who were touched by Jimmy.  With Love, Loida
My dear Damaris and family. My heart is broken to hear the news of Jimmys passing .May Jehova give you the strength to Indore in this difficult time.We love you guys very much. David & Diva Grajales.

My Tio Jimmy will always be a part of me.  Because my parents gave me the middle name James.  I think it’s great that some in the family have compared being with Jimmy as being part of an adventure.  It’s very accurate.  Even though I was very young,  I always thought that Jimmy was having a good time in his life….all the time.  My Tío was a force.  Whether it be in my Grandparents house in Waterbury,  or my Grandparents house in Guanica,  Jimmy was a presence.  My Uncle was a very loving man…Jehova gave him a giant heart.  I love you Debbie, Mama & my Titi always & thank for taking care of Jimmy.

Thanks to my Tio all of our memories are filled with adventure.

To my Aunt Maria and cousin Damaris and family, we send our deepest sympathy your loss. Jimmy had the warmest heart and would help anyone he could. He had the ability to make you laugh and  brighten your day, we will miss him, and will always remember the fun times we all had growing up together on Putnam and the great adventures we would go on. So many great memories to be able to mention. With heavy hearts, we send our love to the family.

Love you all
