It is with profound sadness we announce the death of James "Jamie" Newman, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jamie was born on April 15, 1961, and peacefully passed away on January 6, 2024. His life was filled with the joy of simple pleasures and a deep, unshakeable love for his family.

Jamie is survived by his daughters, Kasie Newman [Kevin Ensley] and Linzee Newman, as well as by his grandchildren, Kambryn Ensley and Brayden Ensley. His siblings Wade Newman, Bo Newman, Ronnie Newman, Angie Newman, Vicki Williams and  best friends Tommy Pyle & Kim Mixon also survive him. He was preceded  in death by his father, Robert Newman, his mother, Edna Mae Newman, and his sisters, Rachel Pyle and Brenda Williams. 

Known as a man with a sense of humor and a stubborn streak, Jamie found joy in the simple things. He relished a big cup of ice water and savored the hearty comfort of baked beans. However, his greatest pleasure was derived from spending time with his grandchildren and going fishing.

Jamie cared deeply about his family and taught those around him how to love unconditionally. His legacy is one of kindness and generosity, a testament to his character. This legacy is a gift he leaves behind, an indelible reminder of his heart and spirit.

The loss of Jamie's infectious laughter and steadfast presence leaves a void in our lives. His memory, however, will continue to fill our hearts. His family and friends miss him greatly, but find comfort knowing that he was saved and is now in Heaven.
